Lamborghini Countach vs. Ferrari F430!

When we asked blog readers whether they’d rather have a Gallardo or an F430, the Ferrari won by a mile. One of the guys who commented put it this way; "Lambos are for boys and rap stars, Ferraris are for car enthusiasts." And to be honest, as much as I love Lambos, I kind of agree with that statement. Ferrari has an amazing racing pedigree, and Lambo, well, doesn’t. So that’s what I was a little surprised by this video. You’d think that in a straight-up drag, a modern Ferrari would totally smoke a Lambo 15 years its senior, but in this video, it looks pretty close.

Both are pretty amazing in my opinion- my taste is Lambo but I wouldn’t kick either out of my garage. I did hear once on Speed that Lambo owners were more likely to mod and customize their cars whereas Ferrari people like to stick keep it pristine. Since I don’t know anyone who owns either I couldn’t say, but if that’s true that would make Lambo owners cooler!

I’ve seen “rap stars” and “boys” drive both ferrari’s and lambo’s, I’ve also seen business men and women drive both ferrari’s and lambo’s. Sooo… umm… what’s that have to do with performance? The Countach is an iconic exotic car just like the testarossa! My dream drag race would’ve been that match up. I don’t like one more then the other. I love ferrari’s, I love lambo’s and if I could afford them, I would have both!

Thats a sweet video, would be so much fun to run cars like that, I’ve got to say I actually prefer lambos over ferraris, boys and rap stars, o well, thats only the people who buy them, I’m goin by design and sweet performance!

The way i see it.Both companies look the same to me.Both are great and both build nice supercars.And you dont judje a company by the people that buy their products

Lambos are for boys and rap stars? HAHA what a joke, only a peasant would say that. Lambo will always be greater than Ferrari. Gallardo > F430. Watch Jeremy Clarkson’s “Supercar Showdown” DVD. Stig drives both around a track, the Gallardo posts a faster time.

First of all, the guy with the checkered flag is playing mental poker with a pinochle deck. Aside from standing IN THE WAY of either oncoming car, that is the worst place for that genius to be standing.

That aside, if asked 1,000,000 times my answer would be the same every time… Countach.

It looks like it lost in that video, but hey there’s ALWAYS a faster car out there somewhere. The Countach took my interest to the next level way back in the 80s. Ferraris were nice of course but there was nothing like a Countach.
