This Just In: New on the Net

This weekend felt way too short. Sometimes, I wish Seattle would have a blackout, so all us computer jockeys could get a guilt-free day off. How cool would that be? Anyway, here’s the news:

  • Sure, crash tests are important, but that doesn’t make looking at the shots of this smashed up Tesla any easier. Wired
  • Don’t call it a comeback! And don’t call it a wagon either! With gas prices steadily climbing, automakers are quietly bringing back these venerable grocery getters—but don’t expect them to be called wagons. Los Angeles Times
  • Chip Ganassi’s team has won as third consecutive victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Way to go guys! AutoWeek
  • American’s aren’t the only ones worried about a recession in the States. Germany sells a lot of cars here, and they want to make sure it stays that way. Automotive News
