Cop Gets Seriously Lucky!

Wow, talk about a close call! It doesn’t look like you could slip a credit card between this cop and the speeding rally car. While the clip looks legit, I have to wonder if it’s real. Seriously, if someone is dim enough that slowly crossing a road during a rallybehind a blind corner no lessseems like a good idea, it seems like they might be a little too dumb to be a cop. The other thing that bothers me is the subject’s total lack of reaction. While I guess he could just have been completely stunned, don’t you imagine he’d at least have turned his head in the direction of the car which nearly creamed him? I think I would’ve.

It’s Sebatien Loeb’s WRC car at Monte Carlo rally. Most should be able to recognize it.

You can kinda see his vest thing move, so I think it’s real. It’s also possible with the angle that it wasn’t quite so close as it looked.

Wow that is intense. I think its pretty real because you see the cop lean back right as the cars going by as to suck his ass in so he wont get clipped. I think the driver was all over that though. Sweet clip.

Cops are not immune to occasional stupidity, especially when circumstances or duties deviate from the norm (what they’re trained to do day in, day out).

Rally races seem the bring out the stupidity in some spectators. There will be no future shortage of this kind of video.

The only thing I can figure is that he was trying to keep the spectators at bay. But, why the heck cross the road?
What a moron.
