ArmoredHaulin Headed to ‘09 Spring Break Nationals!

Ok, so maybe it was because I saw Hard Rain at an impressionable age, but I’ve always thought that it’d be super-trick to be an armored car driver. Michael seems to think so too, though he’s going to be doing something a lot cooler with his armored GMC Topkick than just hauling around a bunch of gold bars: he’s building a wicked audio-competition rig for the the 2009 Spring Break Nationals in Daytona! Wait’ll you see the electronics he’s got lined up for the truck—and as Michael puts it, he’s got over 3500 cubic feet to work with, so this thing’s gonna be an audio monster! We’ll be keeping an eye on this build, and we’ll be sure to catch Mike at the show in ‘09.

Seriously, though… A Brinks truck is an AWESOME platform for sound. Such a solid, heavy truck should be fairly buzz-proof and the low frequency at high decibels will probably transfer right into the freaking ground. This thing is going to be siesmic. I recommend a custom paint job and call it EARTHQUAKE.

well, maybe not, but it’ll be awesome for sure.

His audio equipment should be somewhat safe
