Consumer Reports Readers Love Toyota and Honda… and Hate Acura
By Rob
Editor-in-Chief
Here’s a shocker: Toyota and Honda scored the two top spots in brand perception in a recent Consumer Reports survey. Jeez, I wonder how that happened. Now, you know how I feel about Consumer Reports. Somehow, though, Ford and Chevy scored the number three and four spots. But here’s the funny part: Acura got the lowest score of any manufacturer! Go figure.

I see more acuras around where I live than bmw’s lexuses etc. SOMEONE likes them.. and if you like honda YOU LIKE ACURA, end of story (though yes, more coupes would win me over)

wtf?! thats gotta be a mistake. even if it isn’t Acura was just below Audi so what does that tell ya? thats like my bf telling me he hates hondas but he drives an acura lmao. same thing bro. maybe its cuz they discontinued all the coupes? i know thats why i haven’t been checking out acura dealerships lately- goodbye integra/rsx & nsx i won’t be buying another acura til they have a successor (or i’ll just buy one used).

Thats stupid because Honda makes Acura. So how can they score low. They have the same engines. Acura is just the luxury line of Honda’s. I personally own a Acura TSX and love it.

Thats retarded, “I love HONDA, but i can’t stand ACURA”. Does that even make sense.

Consumer Reports like Fox News. They say they’re fair and balanced, but everytime I check ‘em out I have trouble believing that.

Acura scoring low on Consumer Reports? If I didn’t know better, I’d think that was a typo.
