Got What it Takes to be a Parking Champ?

Remember the episode where the Simpson’s wind up on that sadistic Japanese game show? Well, if you’ve ever seen Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, you know that depiction isn’t complete fiction. But our friends in the Land of the Rising Sun also have programs which don’t involve tormenting their contestants. Just check out this episode of TV Champions, which features drivers competing for the title of greatest parker. Winning that designation means mucho bragging rights, and appropriately, hopefuls must  complete a pretty daunting task. They’ve got to reverse an Impreza across a parking lot—at full throttle, of course—into a standard-sized spot, then pop a balloon with a bumper-mounted needle—all without knocking over the wall of cans it’s hanging from.
