Lambos on Ice!

By John

Most folks with Italian exotics wouldn’t dream of taking them out in weather anything less than perfect. But in an effort to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Gallardo’s all wheel drive system, Lamborghini is offering ice driving classes which allow students to practice handling the Italian stallions in slippery conditions. And while most graduates will still probably elect to keep their babies in the garage during inclement weather, this looks like one hell of a good time. Head over to VW Vortex to see some gorgeous shots of Lambos playing in the snow.

Not as cool as the SAAB ICE EXPERIENCE!!

In only a few short days VIP’s (customers) on the Saab ICE experience stay in Stockholm sweden, Kiruna Sweden (inside the artic circle, and fly through Goteborg to stay in trollhattan Sweden.

While inside the artic circle you get to dog sled to your hotel which is a palace made of all ICE (ICE HOTEL), snow mobile, reindeer race, ICE race on a private track with world known rally driver Per Eklund and members of the Saab Performance Team, go in a cultural sauna and then roll in the snow at temperatures between -20 and -40* (it is very likely to see the northern lights at night in the sauna and hot tubs), and take private helicopters up to the highest point in sweden to have lunch. Once in Trollhattan you pick up your new SAAB at the factory dealer where it is licenced and insured, you can drive it around Europe and then it is shipped home at no cost. :)

This was by far the coolest thing I have done in my life yet! (I won the ice racing part of course. :P )
