This Just In: New on the Net

Triumph Motorcycles is going to reissue the t-shirt that Steve McQueen made famous. While it’s cool and everything, the weathered treatment is a little weak. I’d rather have the one Dylan wore on the cover of Highway 61. Of course, neither is as cool as a Lucky Strike racing jacket. Here’s the news:
- Exxon set a record this year by earning more annual profits than any other US company in history. Way to go! Now how about giving us poor shmucks a break at the pump? Winding Road
- Looks like the General isn’t in such bad shape. While Ford, Honda, and Toyota experienced sales dips in January, the general made a 2.1% gain. Just wait till the new Camaro hits dealerships. Detroit News
- Carol Shelby is an America legend, so it’s depressing to see him doing something as petty as suing his biggest fans. Who does he think he is, the record industry? AutoWeek
- There are rumors Tesla will produce a track edition of its sexy little Roadster. Tesla, you’re like the dreamiest car company ever. I love you. GT Spirit via Fast Lane Daily
