EX-Shell Boss: All New Cars Should Get 35MPG

By John

Sir Mark Moody-Stuart—the former Chairman of Shell—is recommending all new cars sold in the EU should have to get 35MPG or better. In his statement, he also completely dismissed the idea of carbon credits, and said automakers would be able to manage despite the tough mandate. When asked about how US automakers would respond if similar requirements were imposed in stateside, GM’s Bob Lutz began sobbing uncontrollably and locked himself in an executive washroom. Moody-Stuart did not comment on widespread speculation that his eyebrows have been surgically enhanced. Winding Road via PistonHeads.
