Other Volvo Warning Icons?

Volvo has built its reputation on safe cars, and while they’ve pioneered things like the three-point seatbelt, laminated safety-glass and rear-facing child seats, they’ve only recently turned their attention to one of the biggest factors in accidents—the nut behind the wheel. Jen reported on the Swedish automaker’s system which tells drowsy drivers they need a break back in November, but we just got a look at what the warning actually looks like over at Crave. The steaming coffee icon cracked us up, and got the editorial staff wondering about other icons Volvo could add. We liked the idea of a martini glass to warn drunks. What would you like to see?

They should display a little gun icon warning you if you’re about to be carjacked.

What they should do is haev a contest an find the person who has the most annoying voice and have them do all their warnings and have it just blair out of the speakers continuously until the problem has been fixed

I suggest they put a water nozzle like that of a windshield washer that automatically spurts water to a sleepy driver’s face…lol… it’s more effective than a chime or coffee cup icon.

“bad fuel” light, maybe with a dog turd pile icon. I would guess the turbo people would really fall for it like a stoich guage.

How ’bout a “shut up and drive” warning to drivers who aren’t paying attention? They could use a really loud chime and a cell phone icon for that one. I hate getting cut off by idiots who are too preoccupied with other things.
