here's the deal
base v6= Muscle car look but its not for speed. So to keep it alive and make it a hybrid, electic or what ever tech/gas saving idea that works.---->> BUT it will have to be in the 15 second area in a quarter. So its not too slow to get out of its own way :)

z28 and ss= ONLY V8......................

I think a hybrid muscle car is possible and likely just think an i.c. engine has to get up r.p.m's to reach it's peak horsepower electric motors don't so if you take off with a 300hp electric motor you are leaving the line with 300hp not a fraction of that like an i.c. and gas milage probably won't improve that much just more power

hybred muscle? NO!!!
let me explain, a muscle car is that it is a car with muscle.
the capabilities of a hybred are not high. can you take one out to the strip on saturday? no. what do you think of when you hear muscle? you think of an easy to modify carburated engine that you can feel through the ground 25 feet away. you dont want a car you can get into and strip the starter out because you cant hear it run. also if you wanted to modify the car, how could you modify? fight through about 200 wires pull the plastic off the little motor and hope you guess right and get the motor and not an alternater or a sensor of some sort. honestly people fuel injection is hard enough to work with.

This is my favorite Camaro. I've always been a Firebird man, but if they don't make another Firebird (they FREAKING BETTER) I'll get one of these eventually.

I just hope they don't change em over to hybrids, cause people will be scrambling for the REAL muscle cars that were made before the Hybrid scourge attacked the venerable institution of American Muscle Cars... and won.

When will people realize that the word “hybrid” is not necessary synonymous with “quiet”, “weak”, & “slow”? Neither is “muscle car” with “gas guzzler”. If you connect an electric motor setup to a 400hp V8, it’s STILL a 400 hp V8. It’ll still perform when you need it to. It’ll just switch to electrical power at cruising speed(when that much power isn’t necessary) to conserve fuel. The power is still available on demand. Just hit the gas and there’s all the power, speed, and noise that you love. Therefore, it’s still a muscle car, and it’s one you can drive daily without killing your pockets.

Ofcourse, look at the tesla i would call that a hybrid muscle, i think there is a lot more to come from hybrid vehicles, and they can be fun just like your big power v-8s
