Supercharger for Genesis?

After announcing that the new Genesis will have an V8 option, one of Hyundai’s head honchos is now floating the idea of offering a supercharger. The idea of a 400 horsepower Hyundai is pretty exciting, but it really begs the question as to why they didn’t make the V8 an option for the Genesis Coupe. Seriously Hyundai, what’s the problem? Well for one, if you’d done your homework, the frame is too small for the V8. If street cred is all you’re looking for then why not just supercharge the 6 cylinder?
