I know you all wish the SoundDomain Sound-Off would post earlier, since I know reading it is highlight of your day. But I like to think that because of my tardiness, you’re ending it on a high note. Attention true gadget geeks! The NaviSurferII is the world’s first single-DIN in-dash carPC. If you want something more than just an in-dash LCD, the NaviSurferII offers GPS navigation, a built-in Media player, at least a 40GB hard drive, USB inputs and AV inputs, and comes in way under $1000.
More great news from SoundStream! Just as the auto industry is reviving old model names from the good ‘ol days, audio companies are doing the same thing. SoundStream announced the re-introduction of the famous Lil’ Wonder, which features killer power and awesome sound quality with an amazingly small footprint. And now, the series will include 2-, 4-, 5- and mono subwoofer amps!
SoundDomain moderator Thumper26 recently finished fabricating custom A-pillar tweeter mounts in his Honda Accord. It turned out very clean, looks nearly factory, and he was nice enough to provide a brief tutorial. Great job, John!

I wanted to mention that I bought a car pc transaction with moneybookers to 544.00 euros, order number 244310, October 7 2008, today 02 November 2008 I have not received the pc and vic ltd not respond to phone and inserted info the site is down, after numerous emails sent by me are forced to a lawsuit for possible criminal and civil offense and will present a complaint at the Finnish embassy in Italy based in Rome.

I PAID FOR ON OF THESE NAVISURFER CAR PC’S ON 8/8/08 AND STILL HAVE’NT GOT IT. THE PHONE NUMBER AND CORPRATE E-MAIL ADDRESS DON’T WORK. I E-MAILD THE 1 SALES EMAIL ADDRESS THAY GIVE BUT AFTER 30 E-MAILS I SENT ABOUT MY ORDER THAY ONLY RESPONDED 1 TIME 3 WEEKS AGO, SAYING THAY WILL LOOK INTO IT.
I DON’T RECCOMEND ANYONE TO ORDER, VIC LTD (NAVISURFER) ITEMS. UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. OH! I ALSO PAIED $110.00 US DOLLARS FOR EXPRESS DELIVERY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I’VE BEEN HAD.!!!!!

ooo, that carpc is cool. I have an in dash carpc, but had to get a separate VGA screen for it. Worked out, because the pc is in the lower single DIN slot made for the factory CD changer, and the screen went into the DIN slot for the factory CD player. Would’ve been cool to have it all together, though.
