Firepower Trains Legal Guns on Skeptics

The Firepower Pill is a fuel additive which promises to lower fuel consumption, reduce emissions, and clean engine internals. As a bonus, it will also make you taller and more attractive to members of the opposite sex. Totally. As you can imagine, it’s been extremely popular with fans of comet pills, snake oil and pyramid schemes, but some people, like Dan of dansdata.com, have dared express skepticism with Firepower’s claims. The reason? Credible independent test have yet to prove them, and senior members of the company seem to be all talk. But that hasn’t stopped Firepower from sending Dan a letter threatening legal action. Check out his page to see the letter—which looks about as sophisticated as the ones CarDomain receives from members who post porn and then threaten to sue us when we delete it—and read all about all the shady characters, dubious claims and independent speculation surrounding Firepower. It’s interesting stuff.

What pisses me off is that there are people stupid enough to make criminals like this rich… and other criminals who spam rich… and other criminals who etc. rich…
-
As long as there’s an ample supply of stupid people with cash, there will be things like this to remove the cash from stupid people.
-
nonetheless, firepower management should be inundated with lawsuits right now.
