Spied: 2009 Nissan Maxima

By Drew

Left Lane News

Spy photographers have caught the first ever images of the redesigned Nissan Maxima, a month ahead of its New York Auto Show introduction. With sales expected to begin this fall, the seventh-generation will be badged as a 2009 model. A Renault-Nissan diesel powerplant is expected to follow the initial engine offerings, arriving in a couple years as a 2011 model. In addition to the diesel motor, a Toyota-developed hybrid system may also be offered, and we’re expecting this as early as the 2010 model year. More photos at Left Lane News.

It seems that the lift in the trunk is part of the heavy camoflouge on the vehicle. I think nissan is completley confused at to what to do with the maxima. Why make it resemble an american muscle car? Oh boY.

I’ve been waiting on the new 2009 Maxima to make a decision rather or not to get an ‘08. I like everything about it except for the hood of the vehicle. What’s up with that?

If this is the “new Maxima”, they finally got it right! This should move the Maxima to the forefront of sedans taking out the ugly Camry and Accord.

Its not a lift the MAxima naturally looks a little higher in the front. otherwise if you put some stuff in the trunk, that could make it ride a little lower. I like it, cause i like s-class benzes the large ultra luxury style is so much nicer than cramped vehicles with chloth seats.

The new Maxima will be a S-Class copy and whats with the crazy lift out of the front end?
