The show has bad acting, so what, every show these days does. But seriously who watches Knight Rider for anything other than the bad ass car. If you wouldn’t take that mustang over what ever car your driving than you shouldn’t be watching the show in the first place. And for all the people that think the mustang is a bad match for the show, kiss my ass, because mustangs are twice as cool as any older T/A. That body styling is the reason why jap cars sell more. And Furthermore, the show should continue because it is entertaining, and no one here watches it other than for entertainment. If you want to write bad reviews go get a job as a critic. Not to mention, there is NO talk of a Trans-Am being produced, and the original KITT was NOT a Camaro! Besides people that drive Camaro’s usually have a Mullet!

Car wasn’t as funny as the original. Kinda lame how everything was ford. There was lots of pointless stuff. I think they were just trying to fill 2hours on t.v. Half of it was just driving around and around and around. I began to lose interested. Not a big fan of Knight Rider…

The mustangs are great cars, but that dont mean they have to be in every single movie action…. I my self think it should have kept the old trans am but sup up or the new camaro!

The movie was so so… I know that “KIT” in now a “Ford” but did they have to use all “Fords” in the movie. When I drive on the highway or the street I don’t just see Ford after Ford. They should of showed all types of cars.

It was OK at best. Plot holes like crazy. Why did they waste our time with Mike oweing random guys money. Why did we care if the friend was hurt. How did random friend get in on the KNIGHT Foundation at the end !!!Why did they feel the need to put Mike in a threesome and make the FBI agent a lesbian who just had a one night stand? Why did they feel the need to kill the hotel clerk ? Why was the mom in hiding in the woods? Why is there no mention of Devon, the head of the old foundation throughout the whole movie, no one even knew who KITTs inventor was in the original series. These questions are the reason why It was OK at best.

It wasnt too bad, very big ford plug, every car on the street was ford give or take a random volvo. anyways, hot car but you could totally tell that 85% of the movie was computerized. it was entertaining though.

1st off they could have used a new vette…and be4 anyone throws a fit i have owned both a mustang and camaro i love all cars. 2nd they might have asked gm too use the camaro and gm told them go fuck themselfs so they went with thier second choise and that was ford. 3rd the cobra 500gt is bad ass so they could have done worse and used a new beetle….lmao

I couldn’t really decide if I was feeling it or not. Such a huge change, different car, different voice, different Knight Rider. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be. They explained it pretty well, and they had the Hoff there also. I will see in the future at some more shows if it’s worth watching. But honestly, I can say it did not make me want to turn the channel, I watched the whole thing.

degollador, I dont think you know the meaning of the word ironically if you used it in that sentence. Maybe you wanted to say iconically, if thats even a word. So next time you decide to bash on the Mustang as a “white trash” car, get out of your trailer park and buy a real dictionary instead of using that redneck dictionary you have.

The show is okay, but it looks like the director tried to emulate the movie “Charlie’s Angels” too much and Val Kilmer is a decent choice for KITT’s voice.

I thought the movie was pretty good. I do hope that they do make it into a tv series.

I for one enjoyed the pilot. The original show was cheesy and had bad acting so if I hold this new Knight Rider to the same standards as the original it meets expectations. As to the hassle about the car… Anti Mustang people get over yourselves. I have yet to see a well reasoned argument against using a Mustang. (If you really want to know I personally would never drive a Ford again but I am not going to knock the show just because of the make of the car)
Here is my take: The producers of the show need to tie in KITT to a currently in production car model. Read that again “CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION.” Unless they use a available car they lose out on advertising dollars. Without advertising dollars they cannot even afford even the crappy writers they used. I would have loved to see the new Camaro as the new KITT but thanks to mis-management at GM the new Camaro will not hit the streets until Summer of 2009. The Mustang is in showrooms right now.

i liked the car. that was the main reason i watched it 600 hp. awesome. i didnt care for the acting though. maybe if they improve on the acting i may watch more of the show. but over all i liked the car the most..

I personally only watched this for the sexy lookin’ mustang-I had no idea what Knight Rider was when I watched this the other night. I’ve always been a Mustang person though, so I think KITT couldn’t have looked better. However, the acting did leave something to be desired but I’d still watch the series solely for KITT. I’d kill for a mustang that damn good looking.

It was good, slightly disappointing, but it was still worth it. KITT as a GT500KR made up for the crappy acting. I think they should definitely make it into a series, with 24 not coming back until next January I need something to watch!

anyone remember Team Knight Rider series it was filled with Ford vehicles (including a Mustang), and the Knight Rider 2000 movie, it stared a Pontiac Banshee concept that was actually a 1991 Dodge Stealth customize to look like the Banshee, SO ALL YALL NEED TO QUIT YER BITCHN’ THAT IT WASN’T A FUCKING PONTIAC CAUSE IT HASN’T BEEN ONE FOR YEARS NOW!!!

I think it’s funny. GM shelled out gobs of money for Transformers, a major motion picture, and it was a great movie. Ford shells out gobs of money on a MADE FOR TV movie and it blows.

I think it was a good movie and wouldn’t mind if it turned into a series. I do agree with people that it would have been nice had they used a Chevy product. Sorry to the Ford people, nothing against Ford’s.

It was ALRIGHT… not great but it kept my attention. If it comes back for a series they need to make stronger story lines and CHANGE KITT BACK TO A TRANS AM (or new Camaro)

I think it is a great idea, but im not fond of kit being a ford, should of used the new camaro or something, switching like that isnt right, but all in end it was a great show, just disappointed on it being a ford. Keep it going.

Well first thing is that yes I know that it is a premear of the show but there were way to many commercials. But I thought that it was pretty good. It had taken me back to my childhood with the original. If I am home when it is on i’ll watch it but I won’t go out of my way to get to it. Other wise it was decent. I’d give it 3 of 5.

I liked it, Theres a lot of things that they need to work on and it has NOTHING to do with the car. I hate Fords, I love my Pontiacs, and I DONT GIVE A CRAP that this car is a Mustang. Reason being is that this is a continuation and hey GM doesnt make the Trans Am anymore… Case Closed. The acting was mediocre, the plot was verrrrry slow to develop. The redeeming factor was they didnt make a carbon copy of the old show. It can go in any direction it wants. Thats all that matters if the show wants to last.

I think it will be a good series, they will eventually tweak something about it, to make it better.

I think it was alright yes rushed the beggining seamed like you didnt know what was going on and you had to figure it out and the ending was a lil bit lame they shoulda put more thought into it. But it was kinda kool how the bullets just bounced off of the car and how the car could morph.
I personally think they should have gotten a concept trans am and used it if they couldnt wait for it to come out in 2009 or 2010 it woulda been alot better cuz how hard could it have been to getta hold of one cuz the transformers gotto use a concept camaro before it came out and it turned out awsome. I think they shoulda just waited till the new trans am came out any way but whatever i guess they just wanted to rush the series or whatever but i guess it was prolly good for the people that didnt know about the original.

I actually thought it was pretty good, with the exception of all the damn fords. If it does come back they should make it an 98-02 Trans am. and for the “high speed” version, like the stang with the double spoiler, they should just put the wings west one on. and it would obviously be faster too.

I think it was alright. You had to think of it as a new series and not a continuation of the previous series. Speaking as any guy whoz into cars, watching any car bomb around on TV for 2 hours is worth watching. I think it will come back as a series but, who knows if it has the staying power. I kind of feel like it will last as long as that “Viper” series from a few years ago.

A few things that picked me were the Ultra Cheezy CG effects, the fact that when the cars collided there was no damage, and I agree the acting was a bit weak in places… All in all entertaining..
