eBay Find: Dodge Challenger Wagon
By Rob
Editor-in-Chief
This wacky conversion happened back in 1973, so as the seller states, "get over it." The Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser roof definitely gives it a funky P1800 wagon vibe, and you know it would be fun to piss off purists at shows. Still, the auction ended with no bids, so maybe it will take a while for this weird Mopar to find a home. In another shot after the jump, it looks like it had a Daytona-style nose on at one point, which almost managed to make it look like a 300ZX.

I seen this car at Carlile summer 2006, not only is it morally wrong the body work wasn’t done very well from what I remember. -Justin

I’m impressed with the grafting of the Vista roof to the R/T. That was susprisingly well-done.

I doubt the same person who originally did the roof also put on that nose, which is HORRIBLE to say the least. That nose made the front overhang something like 4 feet, LOL.

Anyway, I’m surprised the car had no bids unless the starting bid was ridiculous. Screw the purists (in this case) it is what it is.

This thing is awesome! I would love driving around in something like this, even if purists would be mad. To be honest, I would rather see this at a car show instead of an original Challenger.

I loves me some wagons and I loves me some vista cruiser! I dig it.
Looks like some clean fab work. Cant really tell unless we could see down to bare metal. I just hope its not a bondo queen.

Theres enough perfect restoration cars out there for the purists. Especially now that these cars do in the millions for rare optioned Hemi’s. I think this is awesome. I definitly like the front splitter. It makes it look more cartoonish. Serioulsy though thing REALLY BAD ASS GREMLIN ! haha
