A little work and this thing could beat that "largest party on wheels" Hummer limo that was blogged a few days ago.

Encase the open rear with a custom sliding glass door (slides toward the back on the inside).
-
Gut the interior, top and bottom and adorn the interior as any current high-end limo would be done. On the top level at the front, a large panel TV, as large as could fit. All windows taken out and replaced with long, dark-tinted single panes to unify the windows along the sides. Ditch the 2nd story hatch in the rear and replace with a larger window. Cut the roof and add long skylite openings.
-
Try to smooth out the exterior by shaving where possible and paint in a black scheme with some kind of graphic or paint effect that works well.
-
Replace the engine with something that fits and generates a decent amount of power. Review the rims/tires and update them with something (anything) that looks better (should be easy). Try to widen the stance a little by working the suspension and extending out the tires, maybe add a 2nd axle in the rear(?) and flaring out the wheel wells in a way that looks nice.
-
or, maybe there's another option. Just replace all those horrid seat covers and call it a day.
