A while ago my family and I went on vacation to Bowling Green, Kentucky, which goes down in history as one of my favorite places on earth.
-
The Corvette murals painted on the side of the local Wendy's was just a hint of what was coming: a tour of the Corvette (and Cadillac XLR) assembly plant! I was pretty young back then, and cameras are not allowed, so I don't remember much about the tour. I remember that there was a cutaway Corvette engine block in the "waiting room," that was really cool. We were able to go on a guided tour through all of the Corvette's assembly, and it was great. I would recommend it to any one.
-
After the tour we visited the famed National Corvette Museum nearby, which had quite a selection of Corvettes, accessories and even die-cast models. It was great! We took a few pictures with our film camera, I'll try and find them and post them on my ride page. Also, I bought a Corvette shirt that has gotten way to small for me. I'll try to post some pics on my ride page.
