It’s Not the Car, It’s the Driver

By any standards, the Corvette is an extremely competent race car. But you wouldn’t know that by watching this autocross footage. While both drivers piloting ‘Vettes deliver pretty poor performances, the dude behind the wheel of the Impala SS—basically a glorified taxi cab—really tears up the track. This just goes to show that great car can’t make up for sub-par driving skills. Enjoy.

And people wonder why I modified my Buick Roadmaster…
.
These B-Body’s can be built to be fast AND handle
.
The Caprice, Impala SS, and Roadmaster all have the same chassis,
engine, trans, etc…
.
I LOVE this video!

From the sounds of the engine that is a pretty powerful Impala. Definately a big difference in driver skill. I bet the Corvette owners just thought that they would beat everybody just because they own a Vette.
