Boyd Coddington Dead at 63

Boyd Coddington’s company has confirmed that the famed hot rod builder died at approximately six this morning. He was 63. Coddington was the star of TLC’s American Hot Rod and universally regarded as one of the world’s premier hot rod builders. No details are available as to the cause of death. We just found out this terrible news today by watching a show on t.v. that said “In memory of Boyd Coddington”.Can’t believe this.We will miss Boyd. Great man.

HOLLY CRAP!! boyd was on of the best builders i had a chance to meet and chat with and he will be truely missed by a lot of people. We all hope he is in a better place and we wish nothing but the best to all of his family and the guys who have had the honor to work with a legend.R.I.P BOYD and keep kickin’ butt!!

I was just reading back the blogs here when I see this Blog about Boyd.
I didn’t know about Boyd untill now….such a shame.
I view America’s Hot Rod every week here on Dutch TV, and with so much fun.
May I have your carkey?….he always ask that to new people on the set.
And take his (new)ride for a burnout:)

Holy cow, he was a stressed guy but man you’d never guess that he was that bad off. I feel sorry for his family to lose him this young.
