Hard Top, Soft Top?

Cloth convertible or retractable hardtop? The design gurus at Opel, perhaps in an effort to appease the indecisive, think you realy should have it all: a fabric-covered retractable hardtop. Hmm, okay then! The new Tigra Illusion micro-convertible aims to evoke the look of the classic cabriolet while sporting all the benefits of a solid-roofed vehicle. Personally I think they could’ve just left it bare, and that a retractable hardtop is always the better option: it’s the only way a convertible can look good with the top up. What’s your preference—ragtop or retractable?

If i could choose i’d prefer a hard top convertible. Then followed by an actual ragtop. This thing might as well have been a lincoln town car two tone hardvertible. =/

okay… just as long as the roof panels are not steel, so when the fabric ages and water gets past it, there isn’t a rustfest beneath.

They should have painted it that color instead. That would be a cool idea. That or a vynil top… I hate vynil tops but what do I care I’d never own one anyways haha

Retractable ftw. Ragtops fade, turn funny colors, and then look like crap.
