A concept car or show car is a car prototype made to showcase a concept, new styling, technology and more. They are often shown at motor shows to gauge customer reaction to new and radical designs which may or may not have a chance of being produced.

Well, I guess the conclusion of a recent study that Biofuels create more CO2 than gas isn’t enough to sway the momentum of this craze.

If more supporting evidence comes out (and this isn’t just another oil industry ploy to thwart alternative fuels) I wonder just how much it will take before people would abandon this.

Or is it another form of “Crack”… having addicted folks to another flawed idea.

Again, it could be legit and that study could be entirely bogus. The Oil Industry is much akin to Hitler’s propaganda machine. When it serves or protects their interests, they’ll fabricate and broadcast whatever’s needed to cast doubts.

They did it with the Electric car. Unfortunately the Cali politicians and GM’s brass lack backbones and vision, and bailed at the first sign of doubt (even though it was the Oil Industry casting it).

Nonetheless, determination gotta be made to get to the bottom of the Biofuels controversy. We can’t afford to have technology popularized that pollutes TWICE as much as what we have now, if that’s the case.
