Rent a Corvette at Avis!

The opportunity to rent a drop-top ‘Vette�instead of some gutless, sad, little econo-box�is pretty sweet, even if it costs 165 bucks per day. But with all the Big Brother-styled technology present on modern cars, you have to wonder if Avis is going to really let customers thrash on the cars. What’s going to happen the first time someone tries to bury the speedo on the freeway? Is some piece of tattle-tech going to alert Avis? We’ll probably know soon.
