Honda: Women Require Special Driving Instruction

By John Coyle

In a dazzling display of stupidity, Honda has just released a new pamphlet aimed specifically at women drivers. Bravo! After all, what fun is gender-bias if you don’t document it? According to Honda—who should serve their PR department with a copy of PR for Dummies—women require instruction regarding how to park, pump gas, and travel with pets and children. The guidelines do not dictate how many steps behind their mates women should walk, or the company’s stance regarding Saudi Arabia’s current ban on women driving. Right now, the pamphlet is only available in Japan, could you imagine what would happen if they dropped this in the US or Europe?

Open your eyes, think “out of the box”… The World IS different, as well as men ad woman in some ways!
Tere are local specifics, including cultural in Japan.
Honda has designed this manual to address the specific topic areas that women have most frequently contacted Honda about for information and includes material dealing with suggestions for pregnant women and driving safety advice when driving with infants in a vehicle.

Suzy Bruisy has never once caused a wreck in 14 years of driving. Though I have been rear-ended twice, once by a man and once by a woman. Oh and once I was run off the road into a ditch by an oblivious male who blithered into my lane without looking or signalling. I’d say that’s roughly representative of the driving population.

um… yeah, I dont see the problem. Women tend to be horrible, horrible drivers.

Whenever I see someone doing something retarded on the road, 3:4 times its a woman.
