hey rocky, i did do my homework, and last time i checked american cars need 4+ liters to at least push 300hp. Nissan only needs 2.6…..And no i dont drive a japanese car, i drive a BMW. Bimmers have something no american car has, good suspension. No american car can compete on a track, only on a strip. And plus, im not hating on the guy, i think that he did a good job. Those must be very nice cops. About 10 years ago I was a volunteer fireman, so I had a blue light on my dash. Now picture this, I was in Chicago, pulled over and charged with impersonating a police officer because in chitcago the cops only run blues. (Did not know at the time). When I told the Judge that i was driving a Hyundai Excel, it was thrown out of court. He even told the cop to stop waisting the court’s time on crazy charges that make no sense.

hmmm, I am not sure about this one. It looks cool and all but… I don’t see how it is legal. He could get away with driving on shoulder in traffic and little things like that and no one would say anything. There is a good possibility to impersonate as an officer. I bet many times it is annoying for whoever is driving it because people in front of him would slow down.

My county sheriff has a ‘93 5.uhoh working for him and no, it is not the DARE car. I checked. I’ve seen some owned by civilians that have kept the badge. Still street legal too. As a side note, maybe Vegas doesn’t have a new Stang on the force, but other departments around the country have a few S195 Stangs working both undercover and plain view. Many of them aren’t DARE cars either, so I guess the Charger isn’t the only Hi-Po cop car you gotta watch out for anymore.
