Tony Stewart Loses Bet, Gets Back Waxed for Charity
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
Sure, Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick sure were beating on each other during the final laps of Bristol on Sunday, when contact between the No. 29 and the No. 20 put Stewart’s car into the wall and out of the race. But yesterday, the longtime pals were all chummy again.
As chummy as you can be with someone who is torturing you.
A year ago, Stewart said he’d have his back waxed bare if trash-talking Harvick was able to raise $100,000 for their charity, Victory Junction Gang Camp. Of course, Harvick met and exceeded the goal, and as the culmination of Operation Wax Smoke, poor Tony had to hunker down for the single most painful experience of his life (Vegas crash included). Our boy Harvick presided chucklingly over the operationbroadcast live on Sirius satellite radioand even tore off wax strips himself as The Great Pumpkin writhed in agony. At one point, Tony pleaded, "I’d rather you kick me in the balls right now." NASCAR drivers sure have been pulling some bizarre stunts for charity lately, but who knew that competitive do-gooding could take such a painful toll. Listen to the whole disgusting rip-by-rip here, and go below the jump to see some disturbing photos.
Harvick’s sadistic streak.

you guys obviously have no idea whats going on in the world today do you? especially with “nascar”…shit i dont even consider it that because there is nothing “stock” about a “stock car”
I own a 1970 Plymouth Superbird…that is a FACTORY RACE CAR…
take out the amenities add a cage weld the doors shut strap some slicks on it swap the rear gears out and you have a 200 mph consistent winning car
where was toyota in 1970?
oh yea that right…where they belong…on rally tracks and road racing…
what changes have occured since 1970???
safety??
remember the name Dale Earnhardt???
hes dead
im not ripping on them im ripping on fucking nascar
BTW ANYBODY EVEN KNOW WHAT NASCAR STANDS FOR???
OR HAVE WE ALL FORGOTTEN…
what a fucking joke…NASCAR is all about drama..just like TBS
Tony Stewart was fuckin talkin shit about his tires a couple days ago…them fuckin tire companies were around when his DAD was a nut stain….
DRIVE THE CAR RIGHT AND MAYBE YOUR TIRES WOULD DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO!!!
Don't be a SELL OUT

Aaah but how many American (“originally”) Auto makers have set up shop over in Japan HUH?
-
Is it a 2-sided affair or just Japanese auto makers putting a few figurehead factories stateside to help fight the critics?
-
I have no issues with who drives, unless he dosen’t have a visa or a green card. If not, ship his ass home immediately.
-
Might as well eliminate any preferred language here in the states. Everything that was purely american? Well nothing is sacred people… Let’s lease the Statue of Liberty to Sony. America is FOR SALE, partly because of Americans’ complacency… and other Americans’ ignorance.
Dont be a dumb redneck.

“This boils down to simply the presence of name brands. NASCAR is or should be an ALL AMERICAN venue. “
Don’t be a dumb redneck. There are several Japanese auto manufacturers that have plants in the US. Therefore… it’s an “ALL AMERICAN” venue to use your words.
By your “logic” should we kick out Juan Pablo Montoya? How about some of the other drivers that are moving from different racing series to Nascar? Hey – everyone that doesn’t have an AMERICAN enough sounding name…please leave. PFFFFt. You make me sick.
Toyota has already won a race in the Sprint Cup. They’re going to win more. I hope they win not only the championship, but the maker’s points too. It’ll shut all you mouth breathing knuckle draggers up.

Cory:
NASCAR hasn’t been stock in decades. Makes are merely insignias cna vague resemblances of production vehicles, that’s all anymore.
-
You can bash Ford all you want, heck I haven’t held back myself, however NASCAR is the one place where that sort of talk is not relevent.
-
This boils down to simply the presence of name brands. NASCAR is or should be an ALL AMERICAN venue. Otherwise it’s like having teams from Okinawa and Tokyo playing in Major League Baseball during the regular season and playoffs… it’s just not right.
-
F1 is a whole other story. It’s international. I got no issues with any automaker from anywhere participating in F1. Same thing with Indy. NASCAR however has a long-standing history and I DO NOT want to see that erode into something else.
