Since when do japanese bikes get better gas mileage than Harleys? My last 750cc japbike got 40mpg, my current 1338cc Harley gets 50. Lots of big japbikes are lucky to get 30mpg. Sounds like some BS reasoning to me.

Victoria BC did that about 4 years ago. Then they auctioned off the Harley’s to the Public, minus all the Lighting etc…

While I’m all-for American cars, My experience with bikes was quite different. Harleys are great. They’re beautiful machines. When I was younger though, there was no way I could afford one. I owned 2 Kawasaki LTD’s and a Yamaha SECA 750.

Looking back, I would have had it no other way. They were awesome bikes and the inline 4 was a wonderful engine.

just buying a new honda i can see why they would switch… these things are unreal…
