One of One Pontiac Banshee Prototype on eBay!
By Jen Dunnaway
Editor
Wow, check out this fantastic prototype on eBay. Designed by John DeLorean in 1964, the fiberglass-bodied Pontiac Banshee’s influence on the ‘68-and-up Corvette design is obvious. It’s a shame it never got produced, but the original one-off prototype survived and is in perfect original condition with only 1500 miles. To make it yours, all you need is 1.5 million bucks.

now we know where the C3 came from. i’m sure someone at a Barrett Jackson auction will pony up the bucks for it.

Could they even use the name now since there’s an ATV with the same name?

Its been used several times for Pontiac concepts but never used in production modles.

Has there ever been a production car called Banshee? Seems like a great name, but I don’t think it ever landed on production-model fenders.
