Alpine Takes Mini to the Max
By John Coyle
Editor
The chopped roof and insanely detailed paint made this Mini stand out from across the hall, but it was the single-seat cockpit which really blew me away. While I can’t imagine the plastic seat is particularly comfortable, the controls look more like what you’d use to control a podracer than a car, and that’s pretty dope. More pics after the jump.

like the single cockpit but it is too busy with the paint and electronics

Really big brakes, looks safe…
I found it very ugly, but the idea of cockpit for 1 is good. Is totally messed up by lots of electronic gadgets and disturbing paint.

If anyone knows what I think of minis, well when I say that this thing is way over the top and completely absolutely freaking awesome… that would be kind of significant but this car speaks for itself.

Goddam! WOW! this is one of my favorite custom job of all time. although the number of screens puzzles me. If they’re all on while I drive, does that mean I get 6 tickets?????

It’s very nice…
.
AND practical!
.
J/K…
.
It is nice, I’m just not feeling the single seat and the over abundance of video stuff…
.
But, I guess if you’re Alpine, you gotta go over the top.
