UTCC Contender: Garrett’s Civic
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Garrett’s ‘98 Civic weighs in at 2,200 pounds with the driver, and its supercharged D16Y8 is pushing 230 hp at the wheels. The car appears to be very well sorted out, and I’m really hoping to see it at the Ultimate Track Car Challenge in June.

Good Luck man at the track. I’m working on this EG with a B18 Type R Swap with a GSR Tranny it should do fairly well at the track. I love you Rotas i have some on the way can’t wait. What are your plans for the body. I have just installed my carbon fiber hood to lighten up the body weight of the car. Also sidemirrors and trunk hatch door. I have the regular HP upgrades also as far the headers catback exhuast, cams, muffler, short ram intake, MSD ignition, Vtec controller. Go to my page right now i just have pics of my CB7 after a year of having it. No mods pics just the exterior. No pics of the EG yet but coming by the end of the summer. Going to Charlotte for a meet in June so i’ll have pics from that.
