1973 Lamborghini Jarama GTS

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Here’s another great photo shoot by Patrick Ernzen of Desert-Motors.com. This is a two owner 1973 Lamborghini Jarama GTS with just 5,975 miles on the clock. It is finished in Arancio exterior with Nero leather interior. Options include power steering and factory am/fm cassette mounted in the headliner area between the sun visors. Apparently there are fewer than 30 Jaramas in the US, and of the 327 Jaramas sold worldwide, only 150 were the GTS model. Full specs on the GTS here. More photos after the jump, or go to Desert-Motors.com for the complete gallery.

I have a Jarama S which I have owned for 28 years. It is Black with matching black interior and keptin superlative order. However your car is amazing. If you ever wish to sell it please let me know. In my opinion the Jarama is the best lamborghini of them all.

I never have been a real fan of the Jarama as it always looks a little like it is missing something, a little unfinished, having said that this is a very good example the colour works well.

One of the nicest Jarama I’ve ever seen. I think this car isn’t on the registry yet (www.jaramaregistry.com). Do you have the VIN ?

I LOVE the sleepy eye pop-ups. Drop dead gorgeous feature, considering the timeframe.

Great looking car, didn’t know these existed though. Some celicas from the 80s have a similar styling.

Very cool ride. I like the color on this. A cassette player in 1973? Is that right? Must’ve been cutting-edge technology back then.
