If you couldn't get $37K at auction, what makes you think you can get $50K on this site?

Dufe:
Short for doofus or dufus. An individual with an exceptionally low level of cluefulness.

Example:

It's a good process when it works; but it is not very well run--Administration is handled by a third party company which is a collection of dufes.

i am a custom car builder not a dufe (doof) like your self who is so intelligent that he cant spell doof. and to answer your question ,i have worked on ferraris and know people who own them and they all said they broke down constantly and sold them because of that ,and there rediculous pricing for parts. i decided to build acar with same styling and performance and parts availability that is excessable even in uganda. for about a third of the price and way more dependable . uninformed people make uninformed observations all the time do to lack of education!

Why would anyone waste their time making a "tribute"? You could damn near buy the real thing for what this dufe has tied up in this monstrosity.

dear dan, i have been told by many real car people and people here in the (unslow fisto kated part of the little part of the country um sarrry dit i rite dat rong )who are not offended but extremely pissed off at your own conscieved ideas. my family was cruisin woodward ave in the fifties ! doug nash of doug nash 5-speeds went to school with and wanted to date my mother!! i am a. personel friend of many hot rodding legends.my wrench who built the alleged approximately500hp small block was mech for one of pontiacs factory sponsored weekend warriors in detroit. my mentor from age small punk snot nose was roger penskes body man.ihave ,and had while some were still living ,clients and friends who have raced don garlits on the streets of tampa while still teenagers. who raced on the beach when it first began in daytona.my friends and mentors were personel friends with smokey i dont believe an intro is needed. i have worked on and painted for bud sponsored dragsters, don nicholson409 powered panels, planters peanuts porsches, ferraris of a ceo of one of the largest cell phone networks in the world.and on and on .so with all this edumukashon idecided to take bubble gum and stick those steel panels that i hand made english styleout of a 4x8 piece of steel directly over that kumairio Z28 i found in the parking lot no altercations ,one size fits all. it was so simple, i mean any bozo writer from one o those high falutin magazines who is real good at sharpnin apencil could do it. i mean shucks i heard of akit that ya just add water to and poof! out comes an engine compartment painted flat black just like all those fayraries i painted myself and saw in magazines .they even have montecarlo bars that you can bolt to your radiator instead of the sheet metal like every other race and factorycar on the planetso that you can see the steam coming out of your hood while you are flipping over and over at 100mph .shoot dirn that sounds like a ho down dosnt it!i wish i cuold be like one o them writen mans sows i culd rite silly things about unsowfistucated peeples wit noe taist in thays litle part o da cuntry. dan , you did not interview me ,you did not ride in the car you have not experienced the thrill of this machine that can handle off ramps at 100mph and want more but your to busy trying not to crap in your pants because you know it can give it. many top notch men, i mean sophisticated men were brought in by myself on this project all of them including myself with building experience totaling in the hundreds of years combined and all giving stamps of approval. to be honest i am deeply saddened by the state of our sport . and those who write about it .theywill manipulate the real truth to make there own little story look pretty. for instance; it didnt sell at russo and steel and the reserve was to high .ok dan lets see the real facts-out of two hundred or so cars that went thru only asmall number of cars sold, maybe alittle over a couple of fingers and some toes worth. and mr dan i could of bought a real ferrari 1990s for42 grand , i had a high bid of 28 grand with virtually empty bidders in the stands the whole time. my friends from barret said the same thing, you have misconstrued the truth my car was very close to the real ones even in a crap hazard market and like it or not my car recieved more attention and photos than most of the cars there all weekend, even the real ferrari owners were jarred and caved in acknowledgement and began to converse with me and several stated it was the best tribute they had seen. and for your information this car was one of the last cars to run at mecum when there was like 12 people there and they folded the front spoiler and i could of sold it for 37500 . dan you are pissing a lot of people off i will give a chance to respond because im edumacated unlike some so called writers

Interesting...
.
I hope those engine bay braces don't really bolt into the fender liner sheet metal and other sheet metal like it looks...
.
I see he spared no expense on the flat black paint in the engine bay too ;)
.
.
I do like the interior.
.
.
Exterior wise, I don't like it.
.
The wheels don't look right, and either does the body kit.
.
Even the suspension / ride height looks wrong...
.
And EVERYONE knows that stock TPI motors are VERY fast... (sure).
.
Not trying to hate, I was really trying to find something I liked on these monstrosities.
.
There I said it:
.

The one in the first pic looks terrible. The proportions look like they're from a 3rd grader's art project that got a mediocre grade.
-
The second is better. I really like the interior. I'm not one to rule out kit cars. Does that mean I'm a free-spirit or have an open mind? Never been accused of that in other respects.
-
Anyway, at least by the pics, the second car pulls off the effort of being what it is, while the first looks like it wants to shed its skin like a molting lobster.
-
Remember, there is a significant difference in price between a Testosteronearosssa and a Vette dressed up for Haloween. That difference in price is the difference between working man who just made a major scratch-off on hus bucket list, and an investment banker who went to the Ferrari dealership on a whim.
