Crazy Taxi Ride in Baghdad

Since I drink a lot and I travel a bunch, I ride in taxis all the time. And while I’ve experienced some crazy cab rides in my day, I’ve never gone on a ride like this. I mean, have you ever seen a cabby fire a gun to make traffic part? Me neither.

So that’s a cab? Are you sure it’s not a police car? I did hear sirens towards the end, and arent taxis in Iraq painted red and white? Sorry but, color me unconvinced.

Haha well all I have to say is that would have been interesting if he shot that gun just a little closer to the U.S. checkpoint.

Y’know, between the Dubai drifting videos and this, it’s apparent that the missle east is the nuttiest place on earth for motorists.

He drove in the ONCOMING LANES with his (navigator? henchman? hired gun?) HANGING OUT THE WINDOW.

There is absolutely no sanity on their roads. Hell, makes me look like freaking Ghandi behind the wheel. Maybe I should download that vid and show it to the cop if I ever get pulled over.
