If you happen to have a spare $10-12k sitting in the bank for a rainy day and you’re shopping around for some new shoes for your ride, then make sure you add a set of these new Strut wheels to your shopping list. Strut is probably best known for their "car jewelry"–a collection of top quality polished grilles for all luxury makes–so their venture into high-end wheels is a pretty natural progression.

Strut’s new Icon 10 and Icon 10D are forged aluminum, available in 2- or 3-piece designs and can be had in your choice of 20-, 22-, or 24-inches. To get the right look for your ride, the wheels come in chrome or satin finish. For an additional cost, Strut can even custom color-match wheels to any color.

The reason Strut wheels are better is because they are made from forged aluminum. This makes the wheel stronger than a normal wheel and it has less weight. It is also a multi piece wheel. Multi piece wheels can be made to custom applications.

As far as larger diameter wheels go. You can still retain a good ride with larger wheels as long as you use a quality tire and a forged wheel. BMW 7 Series comes with a 21 inch rim and still rides excellent.

You queers have no clue about quality and workmanship. I bet that you shop around for prices on air fresheners. I know its sometimes hard to imagine spending that kinda cash on wheels. For you low end consumers please look at BIGG brand, or maby a nice set of bolt on wires. 14 or 15″ should do the trick for you s-10 or cobolt. When you accel in life you have to take everything to the next level. If not somthing will always be array in your game. Get your money up kids.

There’s a lot better looking rims out there for a small fraction of that price.

Why is it that the rims keep getting bigger? Doesn’t this hamper your ride with a lower sidewall? Goodluck keeping those things clean in the Pacific Northwest…

Good Story, just hate that 15-17 inch rims can be had but, the selection isn’t quite as great. Not without sacrificing a soft ride, anyways.
