Phil, the Satellite only came in a hardtop and vert in 66, and it came standard with buckets and the console/floor shifter–that was all optional on the Belvedere. The smallest engine available in the Satellite that year was the 318. You could get the Belvedere in wagon, four door, two door sedan, two door hardtop and vert. You could get it with anything from a Slant 6 to a Hemi. If you’re comparing two hardtops, they do look very similar from the outside but the trim along the sides is different.

I was 14 when my dad and I started on my Pacer. I learned so much working on that car at that age…it was awesome. How many 14 year-olds can say they re-built an engine? Priceless experience.

I don’t know much about old mopars,but after comparing pictures of your satellite and his belvedere……they look the same.
