Jeep Cherokee: Off-Roaded to Death
By Jen Dunnaway

It’s always kind of sad to see a bunch of people totally destroy a perfectly serviceable ride just so they can have a goofy video to post on YouTube, especially when that ride had offroad capabilities as solid as this unfortunate Cherokee did. Oh well, at least it wasn’t an Eagle. And you gotta admit, some of the footage is pretty cool. Wait for the monster-truck jumps at the end!

I’ve seen this video before, and it’s amazing. I would never do it with my Jeep, but it really goes to show what they can take. The posting that I saw on YouTube says that they failed inspection in the UK due to a rotted through frame, so they decided to have some fun with it. I would have parted it and made a little money, but there is not a single part left that is savable now. Dumb people.

Thats sad… poor car… i would never have done this to a car, any car… It would be better if they get the v8 and sell the steel…

The Jeep wasn’t going to pass emmisions tests without some major work. So the owner trashed it.

That Jeep must have really pissed off his owner to deserve such an unceremonious beating. That was almost painful to watch… if it wasn’t so fun.

All the was missing was the announcement at the end “Time Of Death, 1:00 PM.” The music was a good mood setter for this piece.

Trail-rated indeed! That thing takes a pretty serious beating before giving up the ghost. Not exactly sure why they decided to destroy what looks like a perfectly good Jeep, but at least we get to watch.
