This Just In: New on the Net
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
John is back east attending his sister’s wedding. Or at least that’s what he said he’s doing. So I’m writing New on the Net for the next few days. Here’s the news:
- Some kids couldn’t fit a big screen TV in the trunk of their Toyota Corolla, so they stuffed their friend back there instead. I don’t get why everyone thinks this is such a big deal. KOMOTV.
- IIHS thinks that maybe some of these new fangled "safety" features are just a bunch of marketing hype. Autoblog.
- The stupid and horrendous street racing accidents keep coming. Some idiot managed to scatter his Acura NSX all over the San Diego highway. Luckily, no one was killed. Jalopnik.
- Someone came out with LED tire valve caps that monitor pressure for you. Sorry, but I’m not putting them on my Satellite. Motor Authority.
- Daniel Strohl is looking for the lost Gene Winfield muscle cars. If you know where they are, help him out. Hemmings Blog.
