YouTube Stunt Goes Terribly Wrong

A couple of idiotic teenagers were attempting to catch some air at an intersection and get some glory on YouTube when they wrecked their 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Authorities said the car did go airborne, but the 16-year-old driver lost control of his car, drove off the road and hit several trees before rolling the vehicle. The driver was ejected and is in critical condition. His 17-year-old female passenger was pulled from the car by friends who witnessed the incident. She was treated at a hospital and released. Police said the driver’s friends were too scared to record the video with their cell phone camera due to high speeds, estimated at 70 to 85 miles-per-hour.

Hmmm, sounds like the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Well, we know CarDomain members would never do anything this stupid for CarDomain video. kstar.com via VWVortex.

IDIOTS!! like i’m young, and me and my buddie swill do the occasional burnout, out hard launch from a light, thats as far as we would ever go, complete tools liek this are the reason young people especially guys pay so damn much insuarance, i’m paying $430 a month canadain, with a perfect driving record!! thanks a lot 2 ppl like this that add 2 the stats of bad young drivers, especially with his girlfriend in the car- U TOOL!!

Simply put… Well said. I can hardly wait to read post from the idiots who can rationalize why this sort of thing is justifiable. I suppose some moron will say something like, “It’s ok because there are a lot more where that came from.” What in the hell are these dweebs smoking? I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

It just pisses me off for sure when dudes do this shit with thier girls riding with them, then they f^*k up and crash! why do it at all, We used to jump our friends car at these rail road tracks in RENO, but we didnt crash ever cause we respect the car and know its limits. and I would never try anything especially with my girlfriend or friends with me, why take thier life?
