Electric Mustang and Shelby Cobra from HST International

By Rob Einaudi

Editor-in-Chief

Forget about the electric Elise. How about an electric Mustang? That’s what HST International is working on, along with a Shelby Cobra. Think they’ll be wussy? Think again. Their EV Mustang will do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and their EV Cobra will do it in a blistering 3.2 seconds. Price? $80k and $125k respectively, and they’re taking orders now. More at AutoblogGreen.

It dont matter. American cars cant turn corners. Drive like hell in a straight line but useless round a corner..Explains the long straight boring roads

3.9 seconds… that’s gotta be the quickest 0-60 time for a street driven Stang. I still love the V8 though. You think they’d include a sound clip of an accelerating GT500 to play on the stereo?

Wow, thats cool. If only someone would put this kind of power in a everyday drivable car.

I guess one could buy one, and install speakers under the car
to play the sounds of a V8 internal combustion engine!
