I don't know what all the hoopla is about. The rims are electroplated, it's not like they're solid. Might have used 1/2 ounce to plate each rim, it takes very little. Beneath, they're like all other rims.

Thats pretty sick.
It probably won't be hitting the street or track in those shoes anytime soon though....kind of ruins the whole point of a racing wheel.
