There is a movie from the early seventies to with a Split nose Red Trans Am That David Carradine drove but can’T remember the name of it. At one point he got a flat and didn’t have a jack so he backs the car up on a gaurd rail to change the tire.

RONIN (some of the best chase scenes and stuntdriving ever filmed!!!)

Transporter 1 and 2(BMW was good and the AUDI was awesome!!!!)

Lethal Weapon 2 (how could you forget a Pontiac jumping through an office building mid-chase)

The Italian Job (The Best scenes you could possibly do with Mini’s)

I know many more memorable ones but tried to get the ones not mentioned that people forgot about too!

1: Bullit, sorry but after seeing the Dodge come to a full stop (after almost crashing) and then mashing the gas burning tires like there’s no tomorrow to catch the Mustang, I was sold.

2: Blues Brothers. Driving everywhere like crazy, jumping bridges, and driving thru a mall=AWESOME!!!!

3: Gone in 60 seconds (2000) The car was just sick!

4: Gumball 3000. Jackie Chan in his car/boat/submarine was awesome!

5: Smokey and the Bandit!!!! Need to say more???

1. The glowing ’64 Malibu getting beamed up by aliens at the end of Repo Man. I’ll never get tired of that.

2. Thelma and Louise jumping that convertible T-Bird off the Grand Canyon.

3. Christine reconstructing herself. I can’t believe they were able to do something that cool in 1983 without CGI!

4. This total crap movie called Double Nickels: the low-speed cop chase involving a Pinto being run down endless flights of stairs in Hollywood hills. It’s pretty hilarious.

5. Disney/Pixar Cars: when Lightning foregoes the Piston Cup to help The King across the start/finish line. Gub!

My favorite scene in that is where he comes rippin around the corner in town and hides behind the building…smiles… and slowly rolls away.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up for me too, except I would have included both of the Gone in 60 Seconds chase scenes. By the way, both the Stang and the Dodge were totaled out at the end of the chase. The Dodge was obvious because of the explosion, but if you look at the Stang, you’ll notice the front wheel is crooked. It took alot of chassis damage, so they had to use the other Bullitt for the rest of filming. Somebody located that car recently, but I’m not sure where.
