hey u r a idiot the hood is a damn Camaros hood its 68 or 67 camaro u can freese frame it and see my dad herd that way back in te day and i found the movie so we decided to find out and u would know that to if u checked man

actually the actual car pictured sitting,wrecked at the end is a 69 camaro, study the pics carefully. a very surreal movie. I had a 70 challenger, unstriped like the movie car, definitely a fun piece of that era. i always thought the movie car was a 440 magnum, look closely at the hood emblems

Actually it was a camaro that was pulled into the bulldozers,and blown to camaro heaven[or hell if the scrap went into a new ford].Ihave watched this movie alot!!!!One of my past-times is to pick out mistakes in movies,and i know for a fact that this is true.

I have been really enjoying following this feature. I remember all too well when the original Vanishing Point was released. I have to say I was really surprised not too long ago when they made a remake of the movie, the only difference was in the remake the movie actually had a plot.

Back in the day, there were lots of rumors and wife’s tales about this movie. The one that stands out the most in my mind (hey it’s been almost 30 years) was the one that said that if you watch real close during the crash scene when the car hit the bulldozer you can see the hood was from a Camaro. Of course we all know that’s not true.
