        &lt;p&gt;Good to see a U.S. brand doing well somewhere in the far east. Won&#039;t be a satisfactory situation, though, until we have several brands selling in Japan and China. Even than, the exchange will probably be woefully lopsided and there&#039;s the matter of decades of importing to the U.S. that just would never be caught up with.&lt;br /&gt;

International trade only works when there&#039;s a flow of exports from each country. To export, you gotta be making something. We make less and less stuff to export every year.&lt;br /&gt;

This is yet another thing of alarming importance that&#039;s pretty much ignored, shrugged off, or talked about at election time by politicians. Either nothing is done, or something is done that puts us in an even worse situation.&lt;br /&gt;

Leaving a solution for businesses to resolve has gotten us nowhere at best.&lt;/p&gt;
