Bentley Boys USA Gives S3 a Modern Treatment!
By Ron
aka WayTooFurious
So who are the Bentley Boys? Back in the 1920s they were an eclectic group of racers that used Bentley cars to achieve an impressive array of motor racing victories. The most notable of these were the four consecutive wins at Le Mans from 1927 to 1930. Although the halcyon days of 1920s racing have long since passed, there’s now another group of Bentley Boys working their magic with the marque. Bentley Boys USA has joined forces with designer Arturo Alonso to reinvent the 1960s Bentley S3. In production from 1962-65, the original S3 was powered by a 6.2 litre V8, which has been ditched in favor of BMW 4.4 liter V8 and hitched to a five-speed ZF auto. Bentley traditionalists will be horrified to see the "progress" doesn’t stop thereĀthe "new" S3 is fully pimped and rides on 20×9.5 inch multi-spoke rims. The asking price is $150K, and will be limited to a series of only three cars. Personally, I can think of a lot of other rides I’d buy with $150K, but that’s just me. What do you think? Two more pics after the jump.

I think it’s awesome. Classic famous Bentley lines meet modern touches. Now this is retro.

For 150k it’s really hard to say I’d throw it down on that, but that thing is HOT!
