One Lap of America: Wet Skid Pad
By Jen Dunnaway

The One Lap of America endurance event begins and ends with the Tire Rack skid pad in South Bend, Indiana. Our co-driver Kornhaus took the STi out on the pad today, pulling .848 G’s and running an average lap time of 11-odd seconds. Then we high-tailed it out of there—we’ve still gotta make Road America and Mid America before the day’s over, but first we’ve somehow got to get on the other side of Chicago, America’s worst city to drive through. See below the jump for more cars on the pad, including the Challenger and the Skyline GTR!
