Metalcrafters 'Cuda Convertible Spotted at Spring Fling
By Rob Einaudi
Editor-in-Chief
Some of you may remember the modern ‘Cuda in the Chrysler booth at SEMA last year. The one-off concept was based on a new Charger, and was built by Metalcrafters of Fountain Valley, California. Well, this weekend at Spring Fling, a convertible version was spotted with Metalcrafters badging. I’m not sure I’m that crazy about it, but it definitely makes me eager to see a new Challenger convertible.

BCA is offering motoring enthusiasts a great opportunity to bid for a classic Mercedes convertible and raise valuable funds for Cancer Research UK in a special sale at Brooklands Motor Museum, Surrey on Thursday 5th June. The 1995 Mercedes Benz 500 SL has been generously donated to Cancer Research UK by a supporter and is being sold by BCA with all the proceeds going to the charity. The car is finished in silver, with blue leather trim and blue canvas power-hood. It is equipped with the optional wind deflector as well as the usual SL refinements.

They need to work on the grill, and the back seems to be missing something. The front grill would look better if modelled after the ‘70 Cuda. (I have a great looking Hot Wheels variant sitting on my desk right now)

Not really into it actually. The overall dimentions don’t seem to flow, the stance seems wrong. I remember seeing the coupe at SEMA last year, didn’t really catch my attention..maybe because the new Challenger is now available. Either way full credits to the workmanship, and the colour does look great!

Looks better than the challenger, I would like to have that car the front still looks all muscle!

Love the Colour but, I gotta say that machine looks better in a Coupe loook…
Of Course I’ve never been a big fan of convertibles.
