One Lap: Hard Racing at Mid America Motorplex
By Jen Dunnaway

Our third stop on the One Lap of America tour was the very busy Mid America in Pacific Junction, Iowa. One one side of the road course, there was drag racing going on, and on the other a national rally-cross competition was blowing clouds of dirt across the racetrack. Regardless, the One Lap cars went at it hard, and Steven Rankins did some great laps and pulled our Boxer4Racing STi up to 17th in the overall standings. Considering what we’re up against, including the Hennessey Viper, the Mongoose GTP cars, and the Porsche owned by Mark DaVia that’s won the last four One Laps in a row, our team’s not doing too shabby at all. Events at the track didn’t wrap up until the afternoon, and we’ve got a long haul to Texas in order to make tomorrow’s events. Help us stay awake!
