By Rob Einaudi

Ok, I’ve just got to say wow I mean that took some creativity to think up that monstrosity but how could it possibly be supported by that tiny manifold?
And if you think this is wierd check out this video:

Now they just need to make an engine that can handle it… and then a car that can handle that…

if you think this is fake your wrong. he did have this running for a quick second and i belive something failed in the belt system an resulted in him having to shut it down. its a supercharger used for trains with a custom intake manifold to mount it. its real you can find the vid of it running.

heck, looks like it’s bigger than the block it’s sitting on.

Even if he works out the engine mods to handle the supernatural amount of boost, it’s a conga line of cause & effect. Next in line is the transmission, drive shaft, rear diff… then there’s the visibility issue (well, the lack thereof… bigtime), then there’s the aerodynamic effect that is definitely an issue.

It would just be too much, I think. It’s really interesting, but it’s a novelty and one that will be short-lived if it ever sees the track.

“when we fired it up, I just tapped the gas,
and it lifted the front end of the car about one inch
and blew both headgaskets…”

Damn!

.
Overkill perhaps?!?!?

.
I like it!

Haha, I think this would be interesting on a well built W16… the engine that is on the Veyron.
