All kidding aside I LOVE THIS CAR! No I haven't been drinking but the truth is it has something to do with drinking. In the late 60's while I was still in high school, like many other kids that grew up in a small town in the sticks of Oregon, one of the past times was to down a few brewskies and the real catch was to do it without getting caught by the fuzz. One of my best friends inherited the family car which was exactly the same as the one in the photo. One afternoon he decided to paint the drab old original paint on the car so he headed off to the local hardware store and picked up a couple cases of "Forest Green" spray cans and proceeded to paint the entire car. That car was so green.... (How green was it?) that we used to be able to pull off to the side of the road and blend in with the forest background to finish off our brewskies. That photo brought back so many memories that I could actually smell the brewery smell right thru my monitor.
